The Oliver Hill Memorial Playground

After a community discussion, and the approval of the Band Council and his family, the Pikangikum Playground finally has a name. "The Oliver Hill Memorial Playground" is dedicated to the memory and vision of Oliver Hill. Oliver was heavily involved with Pikangikum hockey, the Whitefeather Forest Initiative and other community activities. His concern for the families, youth and future of Pikangikum made him the ideal person to honour.
